Steroids side effects

While most people who use anabolic steroids to gain the advantage of increased muscle size and stamina for competitions, there are others who use them just to increase their muscles. The problem is there are many serious side effects caused by steroids that are dangerous and even lethal. Synthetic steroids side effects can be dangerous for not only men, but women and children too can suffer some serious side effects when they use steroids. Synthetic steroids are illegal in the United States because of their dangerous side effects.

Testosterone is a natural anabolic steroid that is responsible for the growth of facial hair, chest and pubic hair, and sex drive in humans. Natural anabolic steroids are needed by the body to develop and maintain good health. Natural and good steroids side effects from testosterone can also be an increased aggressiveness as well as muscle strength and mass that most men enjoy. The deepening of a man’s voice is one of good steroids side effects as well.

Natural anabolic steroids are hormones that promote healthy cell growth and beneficial division of tissue and bone. They not only cause muscle tissue to grow but can affect various organs as well. Testosterone is one of the most potent natural anabolic steroids that is necessary for continued growth and good health in both men and women.

However, people in the sports field who use synthetic steroids to get the edge on competition are sacrificing good health for the short term good steroid side effects of increased muscle strength and stamina that they think give them the advantage. There are some ominous steroids side effects that will eventually be exhibited if these unnatural steroids are continued being used. For example, some of these steroids side effects that can be detrimental to the person taking them include such things as the development of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, mood swings, impotency, shrunken testicles and severe acne and even cancer.

There is such a thing as “roid rage” that is well known among steroids side effects in which the person can become totally enraged over little things that happen. People who take anabolic steroids can get to the point where they totally lose control of their emotions. Studies have been done that have proven fact that the mind is affected by the use of anabolic steroids. Negative steroids side effects in men include reduced sperm count and as stated earlier a shrinking of the testicles and some men can develop breasts. Taking steroids can also lead to painful urination as well. The bottom line is men can become more feminine when they take steroids. On the other hand, women who take steroids can become more masculine. Steroids side effects in women can include such things as voice deepening, facial hair growth, shrinkage of the breasts, changes in their menstrual cycle and an enlargement of the clitoris.

Other steroids side effects that can happen in men and women include rapid weight gain, water retention, problems with blood clotting, damage to tendons because of the disproportionate size of muscle growth and liver enzyme irregularities. Since the kidneys filter out toxins and foreign substances in the body they may be at risk if a person is taking anabolic steroids also.

Teenagers and young adults who take steroids can have even more serious steroids side effects. For example, teenagers who take steroids can end up not growing as tall as they would naturally because the steroids can close down the growth of bones. One of his more serious steroid side effects in teenagers is suicidal tendencies because taking steroids can affect the mind, cause mood swings and irrational anger. Teenagers should not be given anabolic steroids at all.

If you have been taking steroids and you are experiencing any of the steroids side effects mentioned above, especially chest pain or blood in the urine you should stop taking them out once and go to your doctor for a checkup.
